Temporary Field Crew Member
Job Summary
Temporary Field Crew Members are key members of our team, contributing to our winter season planting and harvest activities. They have the ability to work closely with and support multiple functions within the site and be are a key component to a successful season of producing quality seed.
Environment Conditions
Temporary Field Crew Members work in a variety of environmental conditions, primarily outdoors. Each member must be willing and able to work in a variety of areas including the seed processing facility, fields, and/or warehouse environment. Frequent walking and standing is required on flat and uneven surfaces. This can include frequent work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions.
Basic Requirements
Ability to understand and communicate effectively
Ability to function both individually and as a member of a team
Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) with ability to meet overtime demands including occasional shift work, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in a variety of the following environmental conditions: weather, walking surfaces, and climates, etc.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 40 – 50 pounds regularly and perform elevated work as required
Preferred qualifications:
Ability to learn applicable technology, to include (but not limited to) handheld devices and desktop computers;
