In 1995, Lynda represented the California Association of Temporary & Staffing Services on a joint task force with the California EDD which developed new UI forms and recommended practices to be used by employers and the department.
As a professional trainer, she has conducted various business-related seminars on Customer Service, Basic HR for Supervisors, Team Building, Developing Management Skills, Diversity in the Workplace and Harassment/Discrimination Prevention. While working at PDQ Personnel, she established the company’s in-house University, developing and delivering multi-leveled curriculum. She has also done pro-bono training on Resume Writing, Interviewing and Job Search Skills for the Shell Youth Services Academy, Women to Work and the Urban League.
Lynda has held board positions with Women in Management and the California Association of Staffing Services; and is currently a member of the Northern California Human Resources Association and is a member of the Sacramento Pro Advisors Network.
Lynda received her bachelor of Arts, Magna cum laude, from California State University at Dominguez Hills and a certificate in Personnel and Labor Law from the Institute of Applied Management and Law. Born in Germany and raised in Southern California, Lynda loves Broadway musicals, is an avid traveler and has covered over 100,000 miles across the United States and Canada on the back of a motorcycle, loves Scrabble and Crossword puzzles; and is the proud stepmom of 2 wonderful adult children, and the pet “mom” of 2 adorable canine kids.
